These bourbon candied pecans will go with just about anything holiday or non-holiday related. Make more than recommended, you will eat most of the single serving batch on your own. I’ve been there & have no regrets!
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Line a half sheet pan with nonstick aluminum foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside until ready to use.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg until it’s frothy. Add in the sugars, vanilla and bourbon and whisk it together to combine.
Once the wet mixture is thoroughly combined, mix in the salt and spices. Now gently fold in the pecans.
Spread the bourbon sugar coated pecans on the prepared pan and place in the oven. Bake at 250 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 mins. Stir the pecans every 20 minutes to allow for even cooking and also to try to prevent burning.
When the bourbon candied pecans are done cooking, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely before handling them. They will harden as they cool. Break them a part, if needed, and enjoy!
*Store in airtight container for 1 -2 weeks (**They will not last that long!!)
